Position Summary
Offload & Icehouse crew are responsible for sanitation of ice production facility, staging/transport/delivery of fresh flake ice to fishing vessels, pick up and transport of fish from vessels to facility, and completion of associated regulatory forms.

Airfare to Sitka, Alaska provided for employees in the lower 48. This is a seasonal full-time position. Length of service and hours worked will depend on business needs.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities
  • Safely and efficiently complete assigned tasks in accordance with Company standards, and local, state and federal codes.
Position Requirements
  • Basic math and English language skills, able to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently, safely, and with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a team in a fast paced and goal-oriented environment.
  • Understanding of basic sanitation practices, basic math skills.
  • Strong spatial organization and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
  • Prior experience working in the fishing or food industry a plus.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Must be willing to work up to 12-hour shifts daily.
  • Work extended hours with uneven shifts during peak operations.
  • Tools include tablets, computers, scales, printers, pallets, pallet jacks, hoists, trucks, forklift (with certification).
  • Work is partially performed in an environment at or below freezing, personal protective equipment is provided, some work may be outdoors in rainy weather.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 70 pounds, safely operate a motor vehicle, and tolerate cold temperatures.
